Winnie Mashaba was born on 1st April 1981 in South Africa. She is a South African award winning gospel singer, songwriter and presenter.

Winnie Mashaba Career
She discovered her talent in singing when she was young, in 1998 after she finished high school from Mashupje High School she began pursuing her career in music. In 2000, she released her debut album Exodus 20 that brought her to the limelight. The solo album, Exoda 20, sold 25 000 copies and reached gold status.
She plans to start a nonprofit organisation (NGO) in Limpopo. The organization will focus on grooming young people and making sure that their dreams become a reality. The NGO will offer music, drama and dance classes, and other activities that will have a huge impact on the youth of Limpopo.

Winnie has confirmed the scam to the publication. “At the time of the incident, Winnie was holidaying in Singapore. According to one of Winnie’s close friends who lost thousands of rands in the scam – the person pretending to be Winnie asked that she send her money to pay for a R3 100 fine,” Drum reported.
The scammer claimed that if the money was not paid, Winnie would lose her car. Drum also reported that apparently the transitions were made through Pep Store money transfer, at the directive of the scammer. “People are robbing us. I sent my money thinking it was Winnie,” an angry Shatadi says. Madira Matjeke, a fashion designer, lost R1 500 in the scam.
Winnie Mashaba on Matlakala Ramathoka’s Death
Matlakala Ramathoka of the Masole a Tumelo and the Comforters groups, passed away on 26 March 2017 at the age of 43 at Akasia Private Hospital, north of Tshwane after complaining of chest pains.
Ramathoka’s untimely death came just few days after releasing her latest album titled Emanuel. The album was released on 24 March 2017.
In a Facebook post Winnie Mashaba honoured Ramathoka. The post read, “Rest well kgadi ya Khwadubeng. My sister, I am confused. Who will ever call me baby girl? Who will ever call me ngwana ko gae? Who will ever call me legafa la Mama? Deep down in my soul I am happy that i was able to grant you your wish of becoming a member of our family in Universal Music. Sesi. You have just released an album titled Emanuel. What were you trying to tell us? Were telling us that you are going to ask God intervene in our world? Go well Sesi Tlaki ngwetši ya Ramathoka.
