Born on August 14, 1979, in New York, United States to a Jewish family from Iran, Nazarian family had returned to Iran, during the 1979 Islamic Revolution, but they could no longer leave and at age 6 she was smuggled out of Iran into Pakistan along with her mother and ultimately moved to Los Angeles.
Based on her education, Nazarian attended and graduated from Columbia University, earning a BA in economics with a pre-medical concentration. She originally pursued a career in orthopedics before choosing to study plastic surgery.
Later, she attended Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine and went on to a cosmetic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Southern California. While at USC, she also obtained a Master of Medical Management (MMM) from the Marshall School of Business.
