Sheli started her broadcasting career as a news anchor and entertainment reporter for WUFT-Tv in Gainesville, Florida. She joined the station in August 2009 and left the station in December 2010 after one year and five months.
Sheli joined CBS 12 as an Assignment editor and web producer in June 2010 and left the same year in August after only three months at the station. After she left WUFT-Tv in 2010, she joined WRDW-TV in Jan 2011 as a weekend news anchor and reporter.
