Early Life and Education
Paolello attended Northern Kentucky University (NKU) and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Television and Radio. Sheree has a strong relationship with her alma mater & has regularly emceed their Alumni Awards. She was presented with a distinguished service award in 2014 by the University.

Paolello began her career in radio/TV class in high school and thought she might do news for radio. Sheree then relocated to Northern Kentucky University and enrolled in radio and TV classes. After her graduation graduated college a Fox affiliate in Cincinnati was launching a morning show, Sheree was hired as a writer and a field producer.
Paolello wrote for news anchors and set up stories for the feature reporter. During this time, Sheree was still working on her resume (on-camera) tape for future on-camera positions. Sheree later had her first reporter position in South Bend, Indiana for the Fox affiliate. A year later, Sheree relocated to Dayton, Ohio, and worked for the NBC affiliate, she served as the evening reporter and did stories for the 6 and 11 pm newscasts.
Paolello stayed in Dayton for two years and then relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina where she worked at the NBC affiliate as a reporter doing crime stories. Sheree was getting offers in larger markets compared to when she was in Cincinnati but wanted to get back to Ohio. Sheree finally got an offer for a reporter job in Cincinnati at WLWT-TV.
After working as a reporter, Paolello got to be promoted to weekend anchor. Sheree was later promoted to the 5 pm news, Monday through Friday. She later anchored the 5 pm broadcast and worked as a news reporter for the 11 pm news, she currently anchors the 5 pm, 5:30 pm, 6 pm, and 11 pm newscasts.
One of her most memorable career moments was when Sheree traveled to New York City after the 9/11 attacks to cover the aftermath for a week. Granted it was a challenging moment given how serious the attacks were, but Sheree feels that it was a turning point that made her appreciate just how important her job was.
