Stella Chung who was born as Stella Chung Siaw Yih is a Malaysian born actress and singer. Chung began her career in a local tv drama series. Later, Stella realized that she had a gift in singing and decided to pursue it.
In 2006, she was signed for the first time and released her debut album in 2007 titled Be Yourself. Later, Chung was signed to Vertex Music and later released her first music album and subsequently turned into one of the local most popular Chinese female singers.

Johns Hopkins found a dead student on their campus. Though the student was called Chung and was 19 years old, she is in no way related to Stella Chung Siaw Yih. Police arrived at the university around 8:20 p.m. Saturday to find medics treating 19-year-old Stella Chung inside her suite at the college.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by medics, and police did not find any signs of an attack or self-inflicted wound. The student’s family was notified and officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding the student’s death pending the results of an autopsy.
A cause of death had not been determined as of Thursday morning, police said. Hopkins officials said there was no community health or safety concerns related to the incident.
Chung was a first-year student at the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and “quickly became an actively engaged member” of the university community, said Vice Provost for Student Affairs Alanna Shanahan and Dean of Student Life Smita Ruzicka in an email to students Thursday.

“They hired a lion dance troupe and engaged dancers who wore beautiful costumes to accompany our performances. There were even drones for aerial shots, so we have lots of very majestic scenery in our music videos. It’s the first time we’ve had all these.
“We shot our music videos in Putrajaya and Sekinchan and other parts of Kuala Lumpur. But the scenery somehow reminds people of China, so some people actually thought that we did it there,” shared Nick.
