Stonebwoy, D-Black, Medikal, Sefa, Kofi Kinaata for 2019 Kundum Festival Mega Jam
Last year’s Kundum Festival Mega Jam Concert went down as the biggest musical event to have ever been staged in Axim.
Recording unprecedented numbers in terms of attendance, the concert, which climaxed the 2018 Kundum Festival, witnessed performances from some of Ghana’s biggest acts.
Last year’s concert saw performances from Stonebwoy, D-Black, Wisa Greid, Kofi Kinaata, Kwesi Arthur, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Dahlin Gage, Sefa, Freda Rhymz, Osayo and more.
Organizers are building on that success to treat residents of Axim and its environs a bigger event this year.
To turn things a notch higher this year, Ghana’s A-list acts have been lined-up to thrill patrons who will throng the Victoria Park on Saturday, September 14.
Headlining once again is dancehall act Stonebwoy. Also on the bill are D-Black, Kwaw Kese, Medikal, Kofi Kinaata, Sefa, Fameye, Nero X, Ms. Forson.
DJ Breezy and DJ Que will man the turntables for both events.
The Mega Jam will be followed by a massive Pool Party Jam at the Axim Beach Resort on Sunday, September 15.
The Kundum festival is celebrated by the Ahanta and Nzema people of the Western region of Ghana.
It is celebrated to thank God for the abundance of food at the times of the harvest period.
This year’s jams, powered by Livewire Events, are under the auspices of Hon Catherine Afeku, Minister of State and Member of Parliament for Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira and Hon Frank Okpeyen, MCE Nzema East.
Kelvyn Boy shades Stonebwoy for unfollowing him on Instagram ( + screenshots
There’s a court revolt or if you are like a cold war between Kelvyn Boy and his label boss, Stonebwoy for various reasons.
It dates back to when Stonebwoy applauded Samini via social media most recently for helping him the time he was nobody in the Ghana music industry. Stonebwoy wrote:
“Whatever you do to help yourself especially An up and coming artiste is solely your obligation The Challenges And Struggles Are Part of The Journey. Many of them these days don’t know how to show Genuine Appreciation and selfless honor for the Least Support Given them Yet They Expect it All”.
Fast forward, discerning Ghanaians on social media decoded the message that the inspiring text put forth by the Bhim Nation CEO is nothing but an indirect shade to Kelvyn Boy. Y’all know how arrogant Kelvyn Boy appears in the public domain.
Besides, checks on Instagram shows that Stonebwoy has unfollowed Kelvyn Boy perhaps largely due to his (Kelvyn Boy) ingrate attitude.
Now, Kelvyn Boy has also reacted to Stonebwoy’s chameleon attitude towards him lately especially by unfollowing him on Instagram. Kelvyn Boy in his post spoke about proving his critics wrong.
He released a photo of himself and captioning it, he wrote, “The same God will prove dem very wrong.” However, social media users have reacted to Kelynboy’s photo and weird caption.
Logically, all that Kelvyn Boy is trying to say is that he doesn’t necessarily need anyone’s approval to perhaps keep his name going in the music industry as far as God is with him.
Kelvyn reacts to reports that he’s fighting Stonebwoy
Musician, Kelvyn Boy has finally reacted to claims that he’s left Burniton Music.
There were reports on several news websites suggesting that Kelvyn Boy has fallen out with his boss, Stonebwoy.
These reports were given the needed backing when Stonebwoy in a post on social media lamented the fact that young artistes are ungrateful.
In a post on social media some minutes ago, Kelvyn Boy insists that he’s still in bed with his boss and that his God will prove naysayers wrong.
His post read “the same God will prove dem very wrong”.
