Suleiman Ramadhani Biography
Suleiman Ramadhani was a Kenyan politician and a Member of Parliament (MP) representing Msambweni constituency in Kwale county. He was a member of Orange Democratic Movement and a coalition member of Coalition for Reforms and Democracy
In 2014 Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori Ramadhani was one of those MP who was termed as lazy in the 11th Parliament having only contributed once in parliamentary debate.
In 2016, Suleiman Dori Ramadhani asked President Kenyatta to apologize to coast residents over his remarks that they did not vote for him during the 2013 General Election. The President is said to have issued the sentiments at Shika Adabu in Likoni, during the issuance of title deeds to squatters who are living in Waitiki farm.
Mr. Dori challenged President Kenyatta to produce a list of people who voted for him as evidence that indeed there is no one from the region who is in support of his government.
Suleiman Ramadhani Dead and Cause of Death
Msambweni MP passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020, at Aga Khan Hospital in Mombasa. The ODM legislator succumbed to cancer on Monday morning while receiving treatment at the hospital.
The Party Leader Raila Odinga, was on the lead to mourn the legislator, “My heartfelt condolences go out to the people of Msambweni and family of Ramadhani Suleiman Dori who has passed on this morning. May the Lord grant his family comfort at this difficult moment and may his soul Rest In Eternal Peace”.In a tweet, the ODM Party eulogized the late Dori as a dedicated leader who served his people selflessly.
“We are saddened by the death of our Member and MP for Msambweni Hon. Suleiman Dori early this morning. Cancer has once again robbed Kenya a dedicated leader who served his people selflessly. To the people of Msambweni, Kwale County & the Coast region, poleni sana,” read a tweet from the ODM Party.
Suleiman Dori is expected to be buried on the evening of Monday, March 9.
