She attended Bass Hill Public School and Georges Hall Primary where her musical interest was noticed but was insufficient to have any public notice. She also participated in Condell Park High where her talent became noticed and was supported especially by both her mother and stepfather.

• On 29 November 2004 she released her debut single “Listen with Your Heart”, which debuted at number 1 and was certified triple platinum.  Casey released her debut album, For You on 13 December 2004, which debuted at number 2 and was certified double platinum.
