Drea de Matteo is an American actress who was born and brought up in Queens, New York, the United States. Matteo is Widely known for her roles as Angie Bolen on ABC’s Desperate Housewives, Joey Tribbiani’s sister Gina on the NBC sitcom Joey, Wendy Case on FX series Sons of Anarchy, as well as Adriana La Cerva on the HBO drama series The Sopranos, a role for which De Matteo won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. De Matteo also played Detective Tess Nazario in NBC’s Shades of Blue. She was born on January 19, 1972, in Queens, New York, the United States as Andrea Donna de Matteo.
