Early Life and Education

Keeso was born in Listowel, Ontario, on July 1, 1984, the son of Anne and Richard Keeso. His family operated the Keeso and Sons Sawmill Company, which was founded in 1872, and Keeso spent several years working in the sawmill before embarking on his acting career. The sawmill was destroyed by a fire on September 9, 2018.

As a youth, like most boys his age in town, Keeso played junior hockey; he played for the Strathroy Rockets of the WOHL with future two-time Stanley Cup champion Jeff Carter, and also the Listowel Cyclones of the GOJHL. He went to Listowel District Secondary School. And later, he attended the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.

Keeso is well known for creating and starring in the comedy series Letterkenny (2016–2023), which won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Comedy Series in 2017. He is furthermore known for his roles as Ben Chartier in the television series 19-2 (2014–2017), for which he won a Canadian Screen Award.

Jared was cast as a hockey coach, player, and commentator, Don Cherr,y in two CBC television movies about Cherry’s life. The first, Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Don Cherry Story, aired in early 2010 and was followed by The Wrath of Grapes: The Don Cherry Story II in 2012.

Jared and Mike Borden created Play Fun Games Pictures on YouTube in 2013. Andrea Brooks Actress

Having appeared in various film and television productions, Andrea’s major breakthrough came in 2015 when she was cast in the role of Nurse Faith Carter in the second season of the Hallmark series When Calls the Heart. Her character obtained a mixed audience reception, mainly because of the threat she posed to the series central love story between Mountie Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing) and teacher Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow). She went on as a series regular from season three.

Andrea joined the cast of Supergirl when it was renewed for a second season in 2016. She initially auditioned for the role of Maggie Sawyer, although she admitted that she did not feel that role was a good fit. She was subsequently sent a further script to audition for the role of Janice. Having won the role, it was not until she obtained the first episode script that she realized she would in fact be playing the role of Eve Teschmacher. She was promoted to the main cast for the series’ fifth season

Andrea appeared in the Hallmark television film A Wish for Christmas directed by Christie Will in 2016. She had previously worked with Christie Will in the 2006 short film Dysfunction.
