Tyler rose to prominence for portraying the role of Andrea on Ghost Whisperer. Her career officially kicked off in 2001. She began by hosting the Talk Soup and the reality-dating series titled The Fifth Wheel. Later on, Aisha decided to devote a significant amount of time to independent projects. One included a role in the play Moose Mating for which she received an NAACP Image Award. She later wrote, directed and starred in an independent short called The Whisperer. From there sho got the chance to cast in the role of Dr. Charlie Wheeler in Friends the movie. This opened the door to many more roles in major films during that time. She was later given a regular role on the CBS series Ghost Whisperer during its first season. This also paved the way for leading roles in The Santa Clause 2 and 3 and others.
