Abby Fridmann is a well-known American news anchor. She began her broadcasting career as a reporter and morning news anchor for WFFF-TV and WVNY-TV in Burlington, Vermont.
In 2020, Fridmann repositioned back to Buffalo, where she anchored WIVB-TV’s weekend morning show before she was promoted to a full-time anchor for the weekday morning show, Wake Up. In May 2023 she moved to Rochester to join a morning program at WHAM-TV on a three-year contract. There she co-anchored with another Western New Yorker, Dan Schrack, a native of Niagara Falls and a one-time Channel 4 assignment producer and editor.
