Michael Portillo is a British journalist, broadcaster and former Conservative Party politician who was born and brought up in Bushey, United Kingdom. He is widely known for his broadcast series which include railway documentaries such as Great British Railway Journeys and Great Continental Railway Journeys. Additionally, he served as MP for Enfield Southgate (1994-1997) and Kensington and Chelsea (1999-2005).
