Mozzy who was born Timothy Cornell Patterson is an American rapper. He did sign with Livewire Entertainment, Real Talk Entertainment, Blackmarket Records as well as Empire Distribution. Mozzy started his journey to rap in 2004 under the name Lil Tim. In 2012 he changed his mane to Mozzy. He came to the limelight when he released his 2015 album Bladadah. The song ranked as the 22nd best rap album of 2015 by Rolling Stone. It as well gave him the “best run” of 2015 according to Complex Magazine.

Mozzy Career

Mozzy actually began rapping at the tender age of just 16. He used to rap alongside his e Genaro “GP the Beast” Patterson. He did release his single “U Ain’t Really Like ‘Dat” under his former nickname ”Lil Tim”. The song was released in the year 2010. At that time he had become a full-time musician. Mozzy released ” Lil Timothy N Thingz” on August 2, 2016. The album is a collection of some of the songs he had recorded while he was still called ”Lil Tim.”

Mozzy Collaborations

His first well-known collaboration was with an industry executive on his third solo album, Goodbody Embodiment. He did collaborate with Oakland rapper Philthy Rich, on the track “I’m Just Being Honest” in May 2014. This collaboration caused a lot of controversies.

Mozzy was featured in December of the same year by Compton rapper YG in his single titled ”City Mad” alongside ‘Slim 400”. This led up to the release of his album titled Still Krazy. Mozzy’s track “Devil’s Team” was featured in Vallejo rapper Nef the Pharaoh’s album Neffy Got Wings in the year 2016. He as well released a full-length collaboration titled ”Chop Stixx and Banana Clips” alongside Gunplay in the year 2019.

Mozzy has as well his own solo albums and singles such are Bladadah. He did release his first album under the title Money Means Mozzy in the year 2011. He as well released the other ten by 2016. Mozzy in the year 2015 was recognized by Complex magazine for having the “best run of 2015” as well as by Rolling Stone for having the 22nd best rap album of 2015. He moved in the year 2016 to LOa Angeles where he released the album Gang, Related Siblings.

The album featured his fellow Oak Park native and producer in June. His album Mandatory Check which was released in the year 2016 reached no. 7 on the Billboard Rap Albums chart. He released in the year 2018, his album Gangland Landlord. Gangland Landlord picked at number 57 on the US Billboard 200. He released on May 1, 2020, his fifth studio album, Beyond Bulletproof.
