He had strolled on as a tight end at Texas A&M in 2016 in the wake of playing at Argyle Liberty Christian and Jesuit in secondary school.

Luke Laufenberg was pronounced malignant growth-free in May 2018, only days before his twentieth birthday celebration, and earned a grant to UTEP in January 2019, coming back to class following a year away.

He was in line for a beginning job for the Miners this fall. His malignant growth returned in April, as indicated by an announcement discharged by the Laufenberg family, and he has educated a month ago that his condition was terminal, leaving him only weeks to live.
