Matokeo ya form four 2017 / 2018 – NECTA CSEE Form Four Results

A total of 287,713 (77.09 per cent) out of 385,767 students who sat for Form Four National Examinations last year passed, the National Council of Examinations of Tanzania (NECTA) has announced today.

Comparing to the previous year, 2016, in which 277,283 (70.09 per cent) students passed, the council data indicates that the performance has improved by approximately seven per cent.

The NECTA Executive Secretary, Dr Charles Msonde, said that out of the students who passed, 143,728 (75.21) are girls while the remaining 143,985 (79.06 per cent) are boys.

The council’s boss added that 265 had their results cancelled after it came to NECTA’s attention that they cheated.

However, 50 students failed to attempt some of the examinations due to health complications, while 77 failed to do any on the same grounds, according to Dr Msonde, who assured that they will get the opportunity this year.

NECTA Form Four Results 2018 Grades

The quantification for grade ranges at SFNA results shall be as follows:-

  1.  75 – 100 = A – indicating excellent
  2. 60 – 74 = B+ – indicating very good
  3. 50 – 59 = B – indicating food
  4. 40 – 49 = C – indicating average
  5. 30 – 39 = D – indicating satisfactory
  6. 20 – 29 = E – indicating unsatisfactory
  7. 0 – 19 = F – indicating fail

Matokeo ya kidato cha nne 2017 sasa yametoka

Baraza la Mitihani la Taifa (NECTA) limetangaza matokeo ya kidato cha nne mwaka 2016 ambapo umefaulu wa jumla umeongezeka kwa 2.56% kutoka 67.53% mwaka 2015 hadi 70.09% mwaka 2016.

Katibu Mtendaji wa barza hilo, Dkt Charles Msonde amesema kati ya wanafunzi 408,372 waliofanya mtihani, jumla ya wanafunzi 277,283 wamefaulu, wakiwemo wasichana 135,859 sawa na asilimia 67.06 na wavulana 141,424 sawa na asilimia 73.26.

The objectives of this examination are to assess students’ skills and knowledge achieved in different subjects at secondary school. Also to weigh the extent to which the student can use the skills gained to meet the social, political, economic and technological challenges for the individual and the national development at large; to identify students with the capacity to continue learning to the advanced secondary school level and other learning institutions. The holder of the CSEE qualification is expected to be able to apply skills of knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation in a broad range of activities.

Eligibility of Candidates who Seats for CSEE

Any students who have completed four years of secondary education at both government and non-government registered schools and passed form two secondary education examination or Qualifying Test. Also, repeaters of the same examination who registered themselves as private candidates.

CSEE Examined Subjects/Courses

The core and compulsory subjects that a candidate is registered to sit for CSEE are:
