In 2006, Galligan went to Brooklyn— and considers herself a Brooklyn queen. She has said Brooklyn’s drag style has contributed to her aesthetic. Her debut drag performance was as Frank N. Furter from The Rocky Horror Show. She as well performed in the theatre version of Psycho Beach Party as Marvel Ann.
