Tim Chapman The Bounty Hunter
Chapman was a regular cast member for the first five seasons of Dog the Bounty Hunter. He was absent from the show from season six to the season seven episode “Mister Mom”. Chapman explained that he had taken a break so that he could take care of his four youngest children. He additionally was addressing the fallout from his second arrest.
Tim Chapman’s first arrest was on September 14, 2006. Police arrested him along with Duane “Dog” Chapman and Leland Chapman by U.S. Marshals at the request of the Mexican government. Moreover, the trio was to be deported to Mexico to face charges of “deprivation of liberty”.
The charges arose from an incident where Chapman, Dog, and Leland were after a fugitive and serial rapist Andrew Luster, the Max Factor Cosmetics heir.
On June 18, 2003, they captured Andrew in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Shortly after the capture, Puerto Vallarta police officers arrested Chapman, Dog, and Leland. Consequently, they posted bail but never returned to Mexico for their court hearing.
The trio was freed from custody on bail; Chapman and Leland’s bail was set at $100,000 each, while Dog’s was set at $300,000. After their release, all three were fitted with electronic bracelets, and were ordered to surrender their passports, and not leave the state of Hawaii.
On the August 4, 2007, episode of Larry King Live, it was announced that the charges filed against the three bounty hunters had been dropped by the Mexican government. If convicted, the three could have been sentenced to up to four years in prison.

Tim Chapman Death
Since the final season of Dog the Bounty Hunter in 2012, Tim Chapman has maintained a rather private life away from the media. He is an old-school bounty hunter who makes people think that he has died. However, he is not dead nor has there been any report of failing health or something else in that regard.
Tim Chapman Second Arrest
Chapman’s second arrest occurred In January 2008. Prosecutors charged the bounty hunter with first-degree “terroristic threatening”. The charges stem from an incident at the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. In addition, the police charged Chapman with indecent exposure.
Police and prosecutors declared that security guards recognized Chapman from his role as the show Dog the Bounty Hunter. The guards then responded to a report of a man fondling himself in a vehicle at a parking lot on January 3, 2008, at around 9 P.M.
Tim Chapman testified that he drove into the Bank of Hawaii parking lot at Ala Moana Center to change his jeans after he spilled some orange juice. He then demonstrated in court with the cup in evidence how he went to grab it but instead hit it. The bounty hunter added that hitting the cup caused it to tip and the orange juice just spilled everywhere.
Tim Chapman went on to say that he first used baby wipes to mop up the juice on his genitalia. That is why a woman, who testified earlier, said that she saw Chapman masturbating inside his parked truck.
Fortunately, Circuit Judge Richard Perkins found no direct evidence that the defendant was aware the woman was watching and acted intentionally. After a short case, the court acquitted Tim Chapman on all accounts. Hence, the bounty hunter was free of the charges.
