Prior to being a judge, Tracie worked as a broadcast journalist at WCVG radio station licensed to operate in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a broadcast journalist Hunter had numerous duties and roles which include; she helped develop and run the oldest Gospel radio station in Cincinnati, OH, trained and mentored different broadcast journalists to be radio host, and produced a weekly urban teen talk show.
