He whisked off to Germany then Columbus, Georgia where he spent his productive middle and high school childhood in the Warner Robins suburb. Greene’s own story derived from embracing music by birthright. “My mother was a choir director, so all I ever wanted to do was Gospel music,” Travis recalls.
He also enrolled and later graduated from Georgia Southern University’s campus ministry (Spirit of Truth) where his wife as well studied.

Greene gained fame when he started his music career in 2007 with the release of The More via Greenelight Records.
