Her boyfriend is rapper JR (Tabure Thabo Bogopa Junior). The two have a baby boy named Sibabalwe Lehakwe Bogopa who was born in September 2017. When the couple was at an interview, speaking about how they met, Tshepi said: “We met at a house party seven years ago. And then we were just friends, and then we met up again…”

Tshepi Vundla Career
Tshepi started off studying fashion design at Lisof, unfortunately, this didn’t seem to be her path. She found it hard and was terrible at the sewing machine. 2nd stop was at Vega where she studied creative brand communications for a while and eventually dropped out. She noticed the importance of marketing around fashion and signed-up to do a correspondence degree through IMM on the subject of marketing.
Shortly following her enrollment at IMM, Tshepi started working the awards. Tshepi started putting outfits together and things started to move in her career. Tshepi actually started close to home by dressing her parents and sisters for awards and events. Gradually people started to pick up on her style and especially on Instagram, Tshepi’s account started to really get noticed.
Starting out she would work a lot for TV shoots, with long hours and long drives. Eventually, through acquired experience and continually improving herself. Tshepi was able to fully support herself and bought her first car herself. She registered the business Twelve Consultancy and started picking up clients.
She is the founder of 1212, a non public shopping and closet organizing company. She did the styling for the “No Rest” and “MEMORIES Back again” music video.

Tshepi Vundla: I’ve always been into fashion, since I was 8 years old. I actually tried studying Fashion in 2010 but I wasn’t great with a sewing machine & pattern making. I also didn’t like how the school was run too, so was really upset to drop out. I’ve always enjoyed putting outfits together for myself & family. Decided to try myself at styling & was given the chance to style ‘No Sleep’ & ‘Good Times Back’ music videos.

Tshepi Vundla: My father’s business mind, how he provides for his family & how hard his worked for everything he owns. Seeing my friends & loved ones do well in what they love. My mother’s warm loving & caring heart.
Interviewer: How Would You Describe Your Personal Style And How Has It Evolved Over The Years?
Tshepi Vundla: I don’t have a certain style, literally dress according to my mood. I love pretty things, heels & all but i love my All Stars, Jordans & sweats too. The way I dress has defiantly changed over the years, my mother no longer dresses me in boy’s clothing or alike my sister as if we twins.
Interviewer: Where Do You Enjoy Shopping For Clothing?
Tshepi Vundla: Overseas but it has been a while since I’ve travelled. I am obsessed with Zara & Topshop right now. Mr Price is awesome too.
