Alan Rickman Die Hard

He played Hans Gruber in Die Hard; Bruce Willis plays a New York cop visiting his estranged wife at her office in the fictional Nakatomi Plaza, in Los Angeles. Their reunion,during a Christmas party, is spoiled by the arrival of Gruber and his goons, who initially appear to be terrorists, but whose real motive is more simple: money, six hundred and forty million dollars of it. Gruber takes everyone hostage, and only Willis remains at large in the building, left to foil the bad guy’s plans.

Alan Rickman Cancer/ Death

In August 2015, Rickman suffered a minor stroke, which led to the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. He
concealed the fact that he had terminal cancer from all but his closest confidants.He died on 14th January 2016.

Alan Rickman Wife

In 1965, at age 19, Rickman met 18-year-old Rima Horton, who became his girlfriend and would later be
a Labour Party councillor on the Kensington and Chelsea London Borough Council (1986–2006) and an
economics lecturer at the nearby Kingston University. In 2015, Rickman confirmed that they had
married in a private ceremony in New York City in 2012.
