Leigh-Anne Pinnock Biography

Leigh-Anne Pinnock was born on 4th October 1991 in High Wycombe, United Kingdom. She is an English musician and a member of the girl group ‘Little Mix’. She has a fashion blog on Tumblr called Leigh Loves.

In 2011 Leigh-Anne Pinnock auditioned for the eighth season of the UK adaptation of ‘The X Factor’. She failed to make it past bootcamp and, similar to previous seasons, was placed into a group with other rejected contestants.

She was put in a three piece group called Orion together with Jade. They failed to make it to the judges houses. Judge Kelly Rowland decided to put Perrie, Jade, Jesy and Leigh-Anne together to form four piece band called Rhythmix.

On 8th October 2011 during the first live show, Rhythmix performed Super Bass. On 26th October 2011 they changed their name to ‘Little Mix’ since there was a children’s music charity with the same name,’Rhythmix’.

On 20 November 2011, Little Mix became the first girl group in the show’s eight-year history to progress past the seventh live show.

During the semi-final stage of the show, Little Mix performed The Supremes’s You Keep Me Hangin’ On as well as Beyoncé’s hit ‘If I Were a Boy’. On 11th December 2011, Little Mix were announced as the winners, the first time a group had won the British version of the show and the second (of three) in the worldwide franchise.

Their debut single “Wings” was a UK #1 hit, and their debut album, titled DNA, was a top 5 album in
the USA. Their second studio album Salute saw them achieve more international success when it was released November 2013.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock is dating Premier League footballer Andre Gray who is Watford Striker. She previously dated another footballer, Ashford Town FC’s Jordan Kiffin.
