Siva Kaneswaran (Siva Michael Kaneswaran) was born on 16th November 1988 in Blanchardstown, Republic of Ireland. He is a model and a musician who is a member of the boy band ‘The Wanted’.

Having Irish and Sri Lankan parents, drew the attention of modeling agents, and at age of 16 he signed a modeling contract with Storm Model Management.He became a face of several international campaigns and was featured in several fashion magazines including; Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Esquire. In 2013 he was signed to Next Model Management.
Siva The Wanted
While Jayne Collins was doing a mass audition he spotted Kaneswaran through an advertisment and was invited to become part of a huge national audition process in England and Ireland to cast members of a new pop group. He passed the audition and was put together with other band members Max George, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes to form The Wanted.
They released their debut album ‘The Wanted’ in 2010 on rose to No. 4 on the U.K. album charts, and included the No. 1 single “All Time Low.” Their second No. 1 hit, “Glad You Came,” came from their second album, Battleground (2011).

His mother is Irish and his father is Sru Lankan. He has a twin brother and six other siblings.

He has a twin brother Kumar with whom he appeared with in the 2008 U.K. drama series ‘Rock Rivals’, playing the roles of twins Carson and Caleb Coombs. They also appeared in an episode of the British children’s television show ‘Uncle Max’ in 2008.
