Trade Associations in UK

A comprehensive list of all Trade Associations in UK, their addresses (postal and physical), contacts (telephone and e-mail) and a link to the Trade Associations in Britain websites.

Brick Development Association

The Association is the national authority on clay bricks and pavers. Our 14-strong membership accounts for almost 100% of the sector’s productivity here in the UK. Our role is to communicate the collective interests of our members and to ensure their products remain the material of choice in the UK’s built environment.

Brick Industry Association (BIA)

The Brick Industry Association (BIA) is the national trade association representing distributors and manufacturers of clay brick and suppliers of related products and services. Since its founding in 1934, the association has been the nationally recognized authority on clay brick construction and represents the industry in all model building code forums and national standards committees.

British Ceramic Confederation (BCC)

The British Ceramic Confederation works on key policy areas for the UK ceramics industry. We represent our members’ views to regulators and other stakeholders to ensure emerging legislation is practical and allows them to remain competitive.

British Glass

British Glass represents the interests of primary glass manufacturers and the glass supply-chain, from raw materials to retail and the end-consumer. We are the industry focal point for communicating and consulting within the supply-chain to government, and the European Union. We promote a pragmatic approach to the fundamental issues that impact on our sectors, the use of glass, and our impact on the wider economy and environment.

British Precast

Tracing its roots back to 1918, British Precast is the trade association of precast concrete manufacturers. The main aims of the federation are to promote precast concrete in the construction market and to disseminate information, through a range of industry representation and by shared knowledge, to add value to its member companies.
