He joined Fox Business Network (FBN) in September 2007 where he co-host “Markets Now” with Dagen McDowell. He was also the news anchor and Friday host on Imus in the Morning, from May, 2011, to December, 2017, after succeeding Charles McCord.
McShane previously co-anchored the network’s early-morning program, Fox Business Morning, along with Jenna Lee through May 2010 and helped launch a live weekday web show FOX Business Live in 2009.
Since joining Fox Business in 2007, McShane has covered several breaking news for FBN in New York, Washington and Beijing. In January of 2017, he covered the inauguration of President Donald Trump, live from The National Mall in Washington. He also covered the European debt crisis from Dublin, Ireland and also reported on the rise of China from Shanghai and Beijing.
Before joining FBN, McShane worked at Bloomberg Television where he served as a news reporter and an anchor on Evening Edition, On the Markets and Marketweek. Before then, he co-anchored the syndicated morning show, “The First Word”, on Bloomberg Radio.
