Julianna Zobrist Biography
Julianna Zobrist was born in October 5, 1984 in Orlando, and raised in Florida and Iowa City, Iowa, She started attending piano lessons when she was seven years. Julianna showed interest in music as well as writing poetry throughout her formative years, Julianna then moved to Nashville after high school to study voice at Belmont University. She found work in Nashville managing acts including CCM band Plumb. Zobrist completed her bachelor’s degree in 2007 and self-released her debut EP, The Tree, the following year in 2012 she released her second EP, Say It Now, Julianna and her husband went to work writing an autobiography that focused on the role of religion in their lives. Co-authored by Mike Yorkey, Double Play was published by B&H Books in the spring of 2014.Shatterproof In 2015, she released the Christian pop singles “The Dawn” and “Alive” from her full-length debut. Shatterproof arrived via Fuel Music in July 2016.
Since the release of Shatterproof, Julianna has performed at numerous charity and professional events, she had venues around the nation, including regular the appearance for Gucci, Burberry, Celine & NY Fashion Week. Her song stirring rendition of “God Bless America” at the World Series, has met with Congress and two sitting U.S. Presidents, in addition to regularly speaking and singing before her many fans, having a die-hard group whom she affectionately calls the Color Kids. She has been featured by top media across the globe including Forbes, Huffington Post, PEOPLE Magazine/ABC News’ “Celebrity Love Stories,” Beauty Atlas, PARADE, CBS, FOX News, and Sports Illustrated, among others. Her husband Ben was also featured in Julianna’s single, “Alive,” as his “walk up” song for MLB games,the 2016 World Series-winning season with the Cubs, Julianna actually recorded a special rendition of “Benny and the Jets” (with permission from Elton John), as a surprise for Ben that year. Not a surprise, as music, passion and meaning follow every part of Julianna’s colorful yet deep walk through life. The journey is unique, but all who walk it “with” her can’t help but catch her hope, inspiration and depth with every step.
