Kelly Ripa (full name: Kelly Maria Ripa), is an American actress, dancer, talk show host, entrepreneur, and TV producer from Stratford, New Jersey. She was born on October 2, 1970 and she is known for appearing on the ABC daytime soap opera, All My Children as Hayley Vaughan. The show ran from 1990 to 2002. She now co-hosts Live! with Kelly and Ryan, a syndicated morning talk show.
Ripa attended the Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees Township, New Jersey. At the school, she was a cheerleader and was later encouraged by her drama teacher to pursue acting. After her graduation, she attended Camden County College and was studying psychology but dropped out and moved to New York City to become an actress.

In film, Ripa appeared in the acclaimed Miramax feature Marvin’s Room film with Meryl Streep and Leonardo DiCaprio in 1996. She won the Best Actress award at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival for her lead role in The Stand-In. Furthermore, she also was part of the voice cast of the computer-generated animated feature Fly Me to the Moon.
Beginning her entertainment career as an actress, Ripa’s success spans numerous celebrated television series. Most recently, Ripa guest-starred on an episode of the hit comedy series Broad City, where her performance, playing an alternate side of her television persona, was met with rave reviews. In 2003, she ventured into primetime, starring in the half-hour sitcom, Hope & Faith as “Faith Ford.” The series ran for three seasons on ABC. The company, which champions top-of-the-line documentaries, has partnered with several successful comedy writers and sold several scripted projects to ABC, a dark comedy to HBO, and a musical comedy to ABC Family (now known as Freeform). They have also developed and produced for many other networks such as Logo, Bravo, VH1, CMT, HGTV, TLC and Discovery. In addition, Milojo has produced an Emmy®-nominated documentary called The Streak for ESPN, and a critically acclaimed documentary Off The Rez for TLC, both which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Kelly prefers to eat clean. By this we mean she keeps household eating right. Speaking to Shape, the mother of three said she likes to eat a sliced chicken breast with sautéed spinach, lemon, and olive oil. For lunch, Kelly takes a salad or yogurt and blueberries. This means her diet has plenty of vegetables and some protein.
She is also one of the many celebs that have sworn by the alkaline diet. An alkaline diet is one that is low in acid, primarily a vegan diet.
