Shemar Moore Gives Update on Anabelle Acosta Relationship
Updated: February 28, 2018
On Wednesday, actor Shemar Moore sat down on “Steve,” where he gave an update on his relationship with Anabelle Acosta.
When asked how their relationship is going, Shemar told Steve Harvey, “It’s cool. She said to me, ‘Whatever the attraction is, the interest is there, but let’s work on being friends… Let’s get to know each other. Let’s vibe it out. Let’s not speed through it because you are cute, I am cute.’ We’re taking our time.”
Though his mom knows about Anabelle, are they meeting soon? Shemar replied, “Right now, we’re not in a hurry… When people meet people’s parents, that’s pressure.”
Moore emphasized that he’s ready to settle down after putting his career first for all these years. He said, “I really am in a good place right now… I’m the lead of ‘S.W.A.T.’ I’ve done everything I could do by myself and now I need that somebody. I need that her – that boo thing. I need that partner in crime to do the rest of what I want to do.”
Shemar also opened up about how he persuaded Anabelle to go on a date with him, even revealing that their first date was at the Grammys.
“Extra’s” AJ Calloway was introduced to Anabelle at the star-studded ceremony.
