Zack Merrick is known as the bassist and backup vocals for the band All-Time Low. He was recruited into the band while still in high school in 2003 by bandmates Alex Gaskarth-Lead vocals/lyricist/backup guitar and Jack Barakat-guitar along with drummer Rian Dawson.
The band was signed to their record label, Hopeless Records in February 2006. Zack can usually be seen by his nose ring, numerous tattoos, crazy hair; that he changes often, and is usually the shirtless band member. Zack plays guitar when Alex sings at acoustic shows.
In August 2007 Zack was featured on an episode of MTV’s Exposed, in a faux hawk and famous green, sleeveless All Over It hoodie. Needless to say, he won at the end. Zack was also the first in the band to be featured on bigdouchebag.com.
