Clifford began his television career back in school at Miami University where he would serve as the play-by-play voice of basketball, baseball, and football on the Miami Student Radio Network known as RedHawk Radio. Additionally, he was the MUTV Sports Anchor/broadcaster and sports columnist for the students. He also hosted “Midwest Bias” which was an American sports-talk radio show.
After graduating from school, he got an opportunity to serve at CBS Local 12 as a Sports intern from to diting, producing, write Local 12 Sports Segments and was under Brad Johansen and Jed DeMuesy.
In the year 2014, Clifford got a job at WGN Radio based in Chicago, Illinois and worked as an Associate Producer. He worked for a few months and left to work for WKBT News 8 located in La Crosse, Wisconsin Area. There, Charlie would serve as a Weekend Sports Anchor / Sports Reporter.
