NXT (2013–2016)
Kaufman was signed by WWE in May 2013 and reported to WWE’s developmental territory NXT. On the July 24 episode of NXT (which was taped on June 20), she made her first televised appearance, congratulating the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion Paige.
In August, she was added to WWE.com’s NXT roster page and assigned the ring name Alexa Bliss. She acted as an unnamed ring announcer for the November 20 episode of NXT. Her first televised appearance on the main roster came at WrestleMania XXX on April 6, 2014, when she played a part in Triple H’s entrance.
She made her televised in-ring debut on the May 8 episode of NXT, playing a glitter fairy gimmick, competing in a tournament for the vacant NXT Women’s Championship. She defeated former Divas Champion Alicia Fox in the first round, but lost to Charlotte in the semi-finals.
After a hiatus due to a legitimate injury, Bliss returned on the March 11, 2015 episode of NXT, where she defeated Carmella. The following week on NXT, she defeated NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks by count-out in a non-title match, which led to Bliss being granted a title match against Banks on the March 25 episode of NXT, which she lost.
On the May 13 episode of NXT, Bliss defeated Carmella after the NXT Tag Team Champions Buddy Murphy and Wesley Blake set up a distraction. On May 20 at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable, Bliss helped Blake and Murphy retain the NXT Tag Team Championship against Colin Cassady and Enzo Amore, forming an alliance with them and turning into a villainess character in the process.
On the July 29 episode of NXT, Bliss helped Blake and Murphy retain the NXT Tag Team Championship against The Vaudevillians (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) and slapped both English and Gotch after the match. The Vaudevillians were granted a rematch for the NXT Tag Team Championship against Blake and Murphy at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn on August 22, which they won after Blue Pants stopped Bliss from providing a distraction during the match.
This led to a match between the two, where Bliss would go on to defeat Blue Pants in a singles match on the September 2 episode of NXT. Throughout October and November, Bliss was involved in a feud with Bayley over the NXT Women’s Championship.
The two faced off in the main event on the November 18 episode of NXT, where Bliss was unsuccessful in capturing the title. On the January 13, 2016 episode of NXT, Bliss competed in a number one contender’s battle royal, but lost. On May 18 episode of NXT, Bliss and Blake abandoned Murphy, officially disbanding the trio.
On the May 25 episode of NXT, Bliss competed in a triple threat match against Carmella and Nia Jax to determine the number one contender to Asuka’s NXT Women’s Championship, which was won by Jax.
On the August 17 episode of NXT, Bliss competed in a tag team match along with Daria Berenato and Mandy Rose, in which they were defeated by Carmella, Liv Morgan and Nikki Glencross in what would be also her last match in NXT.
SmackDown Women’s Champion (2016–2017)
On July 19, Bliss was drafted to the SmackDown brand as part of the 2016 WWE draft. She made her main roster debut on the July 26 episode of SmackDown Live in a segment involving the brand’s women’s division. Bliss achieved her first victory on the main roster by defeating Becky Lynch on the August 9 episode of SmackDown Live.
On August 21 at SummerSlam, she teamed with Natalya and Nikki Bella in a winning effort against Lynch, Carmella and Naomi. On September 11 at Backlash, Bliss competed in a six-pack elimination challenge to determine the inaugural SmackDown Women’s Champion, in which she was unsuccessful and was won by Becky Lynch.
On the September 13 episode of SmackDown Live, Bliss won a fatal five-way match to earn a title match against Lynch at No Mercy on October 9. However, due to Lynch suffering a legitimate injury, the match was rescheduled for the November 8 episode of SmackDown, where Lynch successfully defended the title against Bliss.
Bliss participated in the Raw vs. SmackDown Women’s elimination tag team match at Survivor Series on November 20, where her team lost the match. On December 4 at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, Bliss defeated Lynch in a tables match to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.
On the January 17, 2017 episode of SmackDown Live, Bliss successfully defended her title against Lynch in a steel cage match following an interference by the returning Mickie James, who aligned herself with Bliss. On February 12, Bliss dropped the title to Naomi at Elimination Chamber.
On the February 21 episode of SmackDown Live, Bliss defeated Lynch to capture the title for the second time after Naomi was forced to vacate the title due to injury, becoming the first two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Bliss’ partnership with Mickie James dissolved shortly after and the two would face off in a match on SmackDown Live, with James defeating Bliss. On April 2, Bliss lost the title to Naomi in a six-pack challenge also involving Carmella, James, Lynch and Natalya at WrestleMania 33. Bliss and Naomi faced off in a rematch on April 4 episode of SmackDown Live, where Bliss was once again defeated.
Raw Women’s Champion (2017–2018)
On the April 10, 2017 episode of Raw, Bliss was drafted to the Raw brand as part of the Superstar Shake-up, confronting Raw Women’s Champion Bayley. Week later, Bliss won a fatal four–way match to become the number one contender for the title.
At Payback, on April 30, Bliss defeated Bayley to become the new Raw Women’s Champion, becoming the first woman to win the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships in the process.
In a rematch between the two, which took place on June 4 at Extreme Rules, Bliss retained her title over Bayley in a kendo stick–on-a-pole match. Bliss then started a feud with Sasha Banks, whom she defeated on July 9 at Great Balls of Fire via count–out before losing the title to Banks on August 20 at SummerSlam. She regained the title eight days later on Raw.
Bliss went to defend her title on September 24 at No Mercy in a fatal five–way match against Bayley, Nia Jax, Emma, and Sasha Banks. Bliss was then confronted the following night on Raw by Mickie James due to remarks Bliss made about her. At TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, Bliss defeated James to retain the title.
On February 25, 2018, at Elimination Chamber, Bliss won the first ever female elimination chamber match, successfully retaining her title. In parallel to her activities as a singles wrestler, she took a part of the Mixed Match Challenge tournament with Braun Strowman as her partner, and the duo was able to qualify to the semi–finals of the tournament, where they were defeated by the eventual winners Asuka and The Miz.
On April 8 at WrestleMania 34, Bliss lost the title to Nia Jax, ending her reign at 223 days. On May 6 at Backlash, Bliss invoked her rematch clause and challenged Nia Jax for the title, however she was unsuccessful and suffered a shoulder injury during the match.
Shortly after losing the title, in mid–May, Bliss won a triple threat match against Bayley and Mickie James to earn a spot at the Money in the Bank ladder match, which she would go on to win at the event on June 17.
That same night, Bliss cashed in her contract on Nia Jax and defeated her, after attacking both Jax and Ronda Rousey, winning the Raw Women’s Championship for a third time. This made her the first woman, and third wrestler overall, to cash–in the Money in the Bank contract the same night after winning it.
At Extreme Rules, Bliss retained the championship against Jax in the inaugural women’s extreme rules match, thereby ending their feud. At SummerSlam, on August 19, Bliss lost the championship to Ronda Rousey, and failed to regain it in a rematch at Hell in a Cell the following month.
Feud with Trish Stratus and Lita (2018-Present)
In October, Bliss and James started a feud with WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Lita. which eventually led to the announcement of a tag team match at WWE Evolution. Just three days before the event, however, on October 25, it was announced that Bliss was pulled off the match due to a concussion she suffered beforehand and she was replaced by Alicia Fox.
Alexa Bliss Harley Quinn
Alexa Bliss On Her First Wrestlemania And Cosplay Wrestling As Harley Quinn, Iron Man And More
It’s been a huge year for Alexa Bliss, as the wrestler found herself called up from NXT to the WWE main roster, on SmackDown Live, and then went on to become the SmackDown Women’s Champion (twice!) in just a few months time.
Along the way, Bliss has made a name of herself as one of SmackDown’s most notorious heels, always ready for a sneer to the crowd or a biting comment or cheap shot at her opponent. Bliss also has stood out thanks to her ring gear, which often is inspired by comic book and movie characters, from a Harley Quinn-esque look, to her Halloween guise in Freddy Krueger-type gear.
Going into a match at this weekend’s WrestleMania 33 — her first time performing at the WWE’s biggest annual event — where she’ll defend her belt against five other opponents, I spoke to Bliss at an early morning WWE press event about her recent success, and how an appearance on an episode of WWE’s My Daughter is a WWE Superstar alongside her parents has connected her to fans even further.
IGN: This is an amped up week, and there’s so much going on, including events like this. It’s your first WrestleMania match Sunday. Are you too busy to feel it at the moment, or are you also thinking, “This actually happening on Sunday!”?
Alexa Bliss: Today and tomorrow are kind of my busy days, and I feel like Sunday morning is really when it’s gonna hit. You know, it’s gonna be that moment where I’m like, “Oh my goodness, I’m actually at WrestleMania! I always get the nerves the day of, and I try to [wait until then] I think, because I don’t want to, I guess, psych myself out, if I think about it way in advance.
So I’m very excited right now, but I know once I’m backstage and I’m gearing to go out on WrestleMania, the nerves are gonna hit. Then once I get on the stage, they usually go away. And I’m hoping at WrestleMania they go away and the excitement takes over. But I’m so excited.
It’s gonna be such an amazing, amazing time. And the fact that I’m coming into my first WrestleMania as two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, something that’s never been done before, I just… It couldn’t have worked out better.
IGN: Entrances are a big deal at WrestleMania. Have you put plenty of thought into yours?
Bliss: Yes. I’m very excited to because I’ve been doing a lot of cosplaying, and I have a little bit of something that I’m doing for WrestleMania, another character that I’m trying to, you know, put my spin on and portray. I think it’s gonna be a lot of fun, and hopefully it’s noticed.
IGN: I love how you incorporate the cosplay into your ring gear. I’m a giant Freddy Krueger fan, so that one was a particular favorite. How did that all come about?
Bliss: So that was actually when I was paired with Blake and Murphy at NXT – it all started with the Iron Man gear that we did, the Iron Man-inspired gear. Murphy’s idea was, hey, let’s do Iron Man. And then when we came out with Iron Man gear, it was so much fun, and I was like, “Okay, what else can we do!?” We all kept throwing out ideas, and we did Freddy Krueger as a group.
We had some other stuff in the works, like Suicide Squad-ish, but then when we were all separated when I was drafted. I was talking to Murphy and he was like, “Well, why don’t you still do the Harley Quinn look that you wanted to do?” And I said, “Oh, I don’t know.
I don’t know if I can do that…” He told me, “No, you should totally do it,” and he helped me with the pose. He actually helped me with this pose that I now use for the title, and I used with the tutu, and it’s been a lot of fun.
Then I brought back the Freddy Krueger gear on Halloween and I was like, “I’m gonna run with it!” Iron Man might come back at some point, and I’ve done Supergirl at Elimination Chamber. What else have I done?
I have a couple that I haven’t used yet. I have like three or four that I haven’t used yet, that I’m just waiting for certain accessory pieces to kind of tie it all in together.
IGN: You recently had that WWE special with your parents, and it got such a big response and people really seemed to connect with it. Was that gratifying to see, because you’re putting yourself out there with your real life so much?
Bliss: Oh yeah, it was a lot of fun to do that project. And from what people see of me on TV, they probably think I’m just, like, this horrible person. [Laughs] But it’s actually kind of cool to pull back the curtains a little bit and see the backstory… I didn’t realize how cool my parents are, but then when I watched it, looking at it as an outsider, I was like, “Man, my parents are pretty cool!” They helped me a lot, and I think it was a great piece and they did an excellent job on it. My mom is terribly camera shy, and the fact that she was able to do what she did, it was great.
IGN: She cut a decent promo!
Bliss: Yeah, she did! I was actually shocked. I threw her off on it too, ’cause I told her the promo is gonna be why I’m gonna become SmackDown Women’s Champion, and then they started rolling the camera, I was like, “So, Mom, how am I gonna beat Becky Lynch at TLC?” And she was like, “That wasn’t the question!” So she had to start over again.
IGN: When you got turned into the heel persona, was it an easy transition for you, or was there a learning curve?
Bliss: Oh my gosh, it was such a learning curve. I used to have anxiety about it. I would try these promos in NXT about being mean, and all this stuff, and it gave me anxiety because it wasn’t who I am. But I knew when I joined Blake and Murphy that they were turning me into a different kind of character and that I had to run with it.
I said “If I don’t run with it, I’m not gonna have anything. I’m just gonna be somebody’s sidekick.” And, you know, being with Blake and Murphy really helped me develop the character that I’ve become today, and they helped me with that in so many ways.
Being ringside with them, it was great to be able to find character mannerisms that I like to do without having to focus on a match and performing in a match, because I was their valet at the time. So it was really easy once I joined Blake and Murphy. Before then, super difficult.

Alexa Bliss Injury
Alexa Bliss is the concerned name who ha been bitten by the injury bug. She was already sidelined from in-ring competition following Hell in a Cell. A minor concussion was the speculated reason this time around. But they did book her in a tag team match against Trish Stratus and Lita indicating that she would be good to go at Evolution.
The given time-off was the supposed healing time for her. She returned to compete in a live event last weekend where she ended up picking up a concussion against Ronda Rousey. Rumours of her injury were confirmed when she missed this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, which was the go-home episode of the show for Evolution where her appearance was mandatory.
Only a legitimate injury was the reason behind this. PWInsider.com gave updates that Alexa Bliss was trying to recover by resting at home and was supposed to be okay in time to compete at the historic show. But WWE had to exclude her from the show due to the injury and announced that Alicia Fox would join Mickie James in the tag team match against Lita and Trish Stratus.
In the beginning, Alexa Bliss was booked to perform in a dream singles contest against Trish Stratus. It was speculated that WWE wanted to protect her injury and hence converted this match to a tag team contest. This could have ensured that she spends the minimum amount of time inside the ring with Mickie James being her tag partner.
Apparently, this plan also took a hit with the injury turning into a fatal one. Mickie James addressed the situation in an interview with Busted Open Radio. As per her, Little Miss Bliss would be okay to be present in her corner on Sunday night. This could be an assurance for the fans that the injury is minor.
Here is what he Mickie had to offer about her tag team partner, (courtesy wwfoldschool.com) “She’ll definitely be there on Sunday. I know she’s getting better. I try and talk to her every day and she’s getting better.
Obviously, we know this isn’t ballet and it comes with the territory so you know as long as it’s what’s best for business and her long-term health and everything else like that. So I have no doubts that regardless we’ll all be out there and it will be amazing.”

Alexa Bliss Arm
As previously reported, Alexa Bliss was pulled from in-ring action this week due to an apparent arm injury she suffered at Hell in a Cell last Sunday. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via WrestlingInc.com has an update on Bliss’ status, and it says that Bliss is dealing with numbness in her left arm. Per the report, Bliss is only cleared for “minimal exertion” at the moment. So, she will be able to work to a degree in a limited role.
Bliss was already said to have been pulled from WWE live events as well. She’s currently scheduled to face Trish Stratus in a match at the all-women’s Evolution pay-per-view event that’s set for October 28.
There is no word yet on how this might affect her status in the Mixed Match Challenge series, where she’s teaming with Braun Strowman.

Alexa Bliss Interview
WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss on Her ‘Battle of the Besties’ WrestleMania Match
Four years ago, Alexa Bliss stood alongside fellow upstarts Charlotte and Sasha Banks as part of Triple H’s grandiose entrance at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans.
Since then, all three have gone on to win titles, headline events and break down barriers for female WWE superstars. Bliss, whose real name is Alexis Kaufman, will return to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for WrestleMania 34 on April 8 as the Raw women’s champion. It’s a come-full-circle moment for the 26-year-old.
Bliss knows she will walk the aisle ready to perform before more than 75,000 fans and a worldwide audience. However, “Five Feet of Fury” doesn’t know how just yet.
“Our creative team is awesome,” she said.
“They always take our suggestions for entrances. We always try to work with them because sometimes they have some ideas for us or sometimes there are no ideas at all. So, we just have to mesh together and be open to suggestions on both ends. Our creative teams and writing teams are always great about that.”
Standing on the opposite end of the ring to challenge the villainous Bliss is Nia Jax, her good friend.
The buildup for this “battle of the besties” has been fueled by Bliss’ verbal barrage of insults regarding Jax’s physical appearance. Thanks to the two women’s solid onscreen work, their interaction leading into the match has struck a chord with audiences.
“It has been a very real road with Nia,” Bliss offered.
“We both have struggled with image issues in the past. So, it’s a very real subject that we are bringing to light with mine and Nia’s story. I think because it’s an actual issue, people can relate. There are people who are bullied or are bullies.
“I think it’s one of those things that people are going to be invested in our story because it’s real and there is real emotion behind it. People know that me and Nia up to this point were best friends, which they’ve seen through Monday Night Raw and Total Divas. Now our storyline is more personal; I think that is what getting people into what we are doing.”
Bliss recalls how the idea for the rivalry developed. They knew the key for it to be successful was to bring a level of conviction and believability. Bliss is grateful to have writers open to suggestions and ideas.
“Some of the stuff I’ve brought up in the past have been terrible, but they have fixed it,” she said. “They are always amazing about taking our opinions and making it their own, and making it better.”
Women’s wrestling has never been more represented at WrestleMania than it will be this year, with Bliss-versus-Jax among the big showdowns. Another major attraction will be Ronda Rousey making her WWE debut in a team-up with Kurt Angle to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
Bliss has enjoyed watching Rousey begin her journey from the octagon.
“I’ve always said that if anyone can legitimize the fan’s perception of what we do, I think it’s Ronda,” Bliss explained.
“Everyone knows she has made a name for herself in UFC and had this division built around her. She has done all these amazing things, but to see her train and struggle and do the grind of what we do, I think it gives people more appreciation for what we do. For many, Ronda is it. I think it’s great that we have her, and I think it’s what our ‘Women’s Revolution’ needs.”
The women’s battle royal at WrestleMania opens the door for potential appearances from members of the NXT roster. If history is any indication, chances are even greater for callups from the developmental brand to Raw or SmackDown Live. Bliss has a personal favorite whom she wouldn’t mind seeing make the leap.
“I’ve worked with Ember Moon so many times in NXT, and she has always been a great friend of mine,” she said. “I would love to see her because her story is amazing too. She had about eight or nine different WWE tryouts before she made it to NXT. I would like to see her get the success she deserves.”
Speaking of success, Bliss’ fiancé Buddy Murphy has recently been gaining traction on 205 Live. The couple wondered if his chance to shine would ever come, given what was shown on Total Divas. She is glad it did, and that he is making the most of it.
“He has worked so hard,” Bliss said. “He has been in NXT now for around five years. We were signed around the same time. I was signed a couple of months before him.
“To see the struggles he has gone through with the process, to know I wouldn’t be the Alexa Bliss I am without him and [Wesley] Blake, it’s nice to see him get the recognition he deserves and the opportunity, because he is very talented. He is one of the most talented guys I know.
“This place is almost like a lottery. They always describe it to us like this upside-down funnel. A lot of people come in, but very few make it to the top. It’s nice to see him make that transition to 205 Live.”
She believes their relationship thrives because there is a constant mutual support system.
“It’s never once been jealousy. We are both happy for each other,” she said. “He is there for me and happy for me. I’m there for him and proud of him.”
After last season, Bliss doesn’t rule out continuing with Total Divas and revealing more of her life outside the WWE Universe.
“It has been one of those opportunities that when it comes to you, you say yes,” she said. “I don’t know what the next step is for the show and if they are going to have us on another season or not, but I’m open to do it.”
The decorated competitor welcomes whatever comes her way from WWE. Whether it’s on the mic or when the bell sounds, she has been heavily relied upon to get the job done. A partnership with Braun Strowman on the inaugural Mixed Match Challenge gave Bliss a platform to bring out another dimension of not only her character, but the “Monster Among Men,” as well.
“I love working with Braun,” said Bliss. “Working with Braun is a lot of fun. It’s crazy, because he has such a crazy character on TV. He is this monster that destroys everything, so to be able to get a softer side to the monster, it was a lot of fun.
“It’s always a challenge to show different sides of ourselves on TV, especially for me, who had to be a little nicer. That’s hard to do when I’m Alexa Bliss. It was a lot of fun, so I would love for that concept to be incorporated into a division within WWE, given how popular it was.”
A mixed-tag championship would give Bliss another goal to reach. Looking at her accomplishments within the company, she has checked many boxes. Sometimes more than once. However, there is one ultimate accolade to add to her already impressive resume: headlining WrestleMania.
“I’ve gone into WrestleMania as SmackDown women’s champion,” Bliss explained. “I’ve become the first person ever to hold the SmackDown and Raw women’s championships twice. I’m now going into WrestleMania as the Raw women’s champion. I don’t know what else there is.”
“I’ve had so many amazing opportunities in WWE, and I couldn’t ask for a better year. Out of all the historic moments that we have had with this ‘Women’s Revolution,’ I think that is it. The main event of WrestleMania.”
The way things are going, check back in less than four years—Bliss may have her wish.

Becky Lynch And Alexa Bliss Trade Shots After SmackDown Promo, The New Day – Halloween, WWE In ATL
Updated on: 31 October 2018.
Above is backstage video of The New Day celebrating Halloween with Mike Rome after this week’s WWE SmackDown. As noted, The New Day dressed as The Brood for Big E’s Trick or Street Fight over SmackDown Tag Team Champion Cesaro. The New Day will now face The Bar for the titles at Friday’s WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.
WWE will return to Atlanta at the State Farm Arena on February 25, 2019 for a live RAW. This was WWE’s first event at the newly-renovated arena, formerly know as the Philips Arena, and our correspondent noted that the upgrades were great to see and that the arena made for a fun WWE experience.
– This week’s SmackDown in Atlanta also saw SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch send a warning to RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey ahead of their non-title match at the November 18 WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. Becky closed her promo with a line like this: “I didn’t come to cosplay or talk about a reality TV show, I’m going to Survivor Series to rip Ronda’s arm off!”
Injured RAW Superstar Alexa Bliss was watching Becky’s promo and apparently took offense to the cosplay jab. Bliss tweeted the following response and as you can see, the champ fired back with another shot:
Yep , I cosplay ?? #StillBeatYaTho #JustSayin ???

Opinion: Controversial Alexa Bliss segment on Raw was a step back in women’s wrestling
WWE aired a controversial segment during this week’s WWE Raw featuring Alexa Bliss. It definitely drew a lot of ire from the fans of WWE Universe as we witnessed the Goddess in an appropriate manner. Some of the male fans may have liked it but most of the devotees of The Goddess went on to blast WWE for such a pathetic vignette.
Alexa Bliss was actually going to host the Moment of Bliss talk-show. A backstage staff was about to call her for the segment and hand her a coffee. He knocked on the door and did not get any reply. So he entered the room and we witnessed a bare-back Bliss. He would not run away from there which was the dumbest thing on TV. Unless how WWE could show the prime-most female star covering up her breasts?
Millions of Alexa Bliss fans were outraged with the WWE for treating their Goddess like this. After all, she is a five-time Women’s Champion and the 2018 Money in the Bank winner in the company. She deserves much more respect and dignified presence in this generation of wrestling especially when women are no strangers to the main event scene.
Airing such a segment means nothing but to take women’s wrestling a decade back. Sure Alexa Bliss was not doing adultery or showing things off, but it was pretty unnecessary. It’s for sure that we will not be going to have any fallout from this. Even WWE made us forget about it just moments, when she came out on the ramp never mentioned it for once.
WWE never used her properly on the Moment of Bliss talk-show. First, of, her fanbase is so strong that WWE can’t keep her away from the TV for a long time even when she’s dealing an injury. But then again they will not give her much time on the mic, nowadays. For example, she could not really open up about her accolades so that Paul Heyman can put her over.
Haters may have a different take on this perspective. But even the biggest critic of Bliss will agree that she has multi-dimensional skills like no one else. Be it cutting promos, selling moves or putting on great matches, she has excelled in all with great ease. Hope fans have not forgotten WWE choosing her as the carrier of WWE Raw women’s division over top wrestlers like Sasha Banks or Bayley in 2017.
Just because now Ronda Rousey is in charge, the WWE can’t force Little Miss Bliss to do something disgraceful on TV. After all, this is the same and the only woman who walked into two consecutive Wrestlemania shows with separate champions.
Someday the first-ever women’s Elimination Chamber match winner will be named as the pioneer of the women’s division. So airing that nasty segment on WWE Raw with the multi-time champion made it look even worse. It is not acceptable by any means and hopes WWE keeps this limited to this.
In fact, no female superstar needs such treatment at this point just because WWE wants to get millions of hits on Youtube. Women need more focus on their wrestling skills inside the ring, not outside.

Buddy Murphy Talks Relationship With Alexa Bliss While Having Opposite Schedules
WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy was a guest on Lillian Garcia’s Chasing Glory podcast earlier this week, and it wasn’t long until the discussion shifted to his relationship with fiancé and fellow WWE superstar, Alexa Bliss. Murphy reflected fondly on their past together in NXT as a trio with fellow teammate, Wesley Blake. Even still, Murphy is grateful that Bliss moved on to the main roster and became a featured performer so she could accomplish such feats as being a five-time, former WWE Women’s Champion.
“[Blake’s] doing his thing, but it’s funny how it all happens,” Murphy said. “It’s not a line where you take your number and you wait until your number [is called], you kinda have to figure out your way through the maze, in a way. And I’ve told him this. I’ve told several people this, it’s kinda like my little formula to it. But going back to the tag team, we had something really good with the three of us, and then she left, and then me and Blake lost the titles, and then from there, we just became those guys that make everyone else look really good.
“Lex, in a way – I’m not gonna say we were holding her down, but look what she’s doing now,” Murphy continued. “Like, we helped her get there but I’m glad she didn’t stay with us, because then we would of [held her down]. Her talent would have gone it through anyway. Everything happens for a reason. She’s killing it, I’ve got so much of her merch.”
Bliss appeared in her weekly talk show segment this past Monday and also announced that her in-ring return will take place in the Women’s Royal Rumble match on Sunday. At the same event, Buddy Murphy will defend his Cruiserweight Championship in a fatal-4-way title match at Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. With such differing routes they tour, it’s rare the couple gets to meet in the same destination like they do this Sunday. Despite the strain the distance may cause, Murphy mentioned how he and Bliss benefit one another from a performance standpoint, as she teaches him how to improve on his promos and he teaches her how to improve her skills in the ring.
“Yeah, complete opposite schedules,” Murphy confirmed. “But it’s one of those things where you just kind of, to me, that’s how the cards are being dealt for now. I look at it, well, it’s only for now. So I can look at it like that, but, ya know, I support her 110%, I watch her stuff. I send her my promos. She’s the one that helped me how to speak, she’s taught me heaps. Like, I try to help her in the ring and she helps me with the character stuff.”
