Rai started her career as a journalist with “BAG Films.” She quit BAG filmmaking to pursue a profession in the media. Later she made an appearance on Star News which is currently known as ABP News. During her term with Star News, she had the chance to expand her horizons by working with a few well-known anchors. Likewise, she quit Star News after some time.
Rai used to look up to Rahul Dev as a role model in journalism. Rahul Dev was a distinguished and seasoned journalist during that period.
