After his family immigrated from Iran to the United States of America in search of greener pastures, his mother abruptly left him and his younger brother, Pasha Esfandiari, and returned to Tehran, Iran, leaving only their father Bijan Esfandiari for them.

He is convinced that because of the love and affection his father gave them, he is in a better position to give the same to his cute son. Regarding his education, he attended Del Mar High School in San José. He began working as a waiter in a restaurant when he was 16 years old.
However, he got attached to magic when one of the bartenders showed him a trick on the cards. He quickly became obsessed with the act of magic and used the assistance of every book and video he could lay his hands on to master the art of magic. He rehearsed every day until he became perfect.
Esfandiari then changed his name from Amir to Antonio to give it a more magical tone and started performing his magic at the restaurant, which invited him to many private parties to practice magic there.
