Christy Henderson is an Emmy- Award-winning journalist as well as a chief meteorologist who was born and brought up in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. She is currently serving on the WSPA meteorology team.
She began working at this station in 2003. Her forecasts air every weekday at 4,5,6,7,10 and 11 pm every evening. She began her career at Waco which is based in Texas. Previously, she worked at this station for 8 months as a weekend meteorologist. Afterward, she went to New Orleans and served at WVUE, the Fox Affiliate.
While She was still serving as the weekend meteorologist for more than three years, she was later promoted to forecast the weekday weather at 5 pm. Moreover, she covered when hurricane Georges threatened the Coastal areas in New Orleans before it made landfall near Biloxi.
