Robbins made her entertainment debut when she was 11 years old in Ken Murray’s Blackouts. She appeared on Broadway in two productions Happy Town (1959) and By the Beautiful Sea (1954). Her first appearance on television was in the 1955 western series called Brave Eagle, She played a role in an episode titled “Moonfire”.
Robbins also appeared in several movies from 1957 to 1959, such as The 30 Foot Bride of Candy Rock, The Sad Sack, and The Party Crashers. She wrote several ABC Weekend Specials and a CBS Schoolbreak Special In the mid-1980s. She also wrote TV cartoon series such as The Catillac Cats and Heathcliff.
