Robinson was born on 28 January 1995, in San Antonio, Texas. He attended San Antonio Christian Schools in San Antonio, Texas. He then enrolled at the University of Notre Dame where he graduated in 2017.
Rise to Fame
Robinson had 67 receptions for 1,414 yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior. Following the season, he received the Glenn Davis Army Award and was chosen to play in the United States Army All-American Bowl in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas.
Scout.com ranked him as a four-star recruit and the 43rd best wide receiver prospect in his class. In March 2012, Robinson committed to play college football at the University of Notre Dame.
Robinson appeared in all 13 games as a true freshman in 2013, making three starts. He finished the season with nine receptions for 157 yards and one touchdown, a 35-yard grab against Air Force. Robinson began his sophomore season as a starter in 2014.

Robinson was named a First-Team Academic All-American following the regular season. Robinson, however, decided to retire from football in the 2016 offseason after suffering a third concussion in his junior year.
