He initially joined the NewsCenter 5 team in 1988, working as Weekend Sports Anchor and Reporter.
Harding later promoted to Co-Anchor of the EyeOpener newscast in 2000. Prior to joining the WCVB news team, Ed worked at WISH-TV, the CBS affiliate in Indianapolis as a Sports Director and Principal Sports Anchor. He served as a sports director and anchor for WDSU-TV in New Orleans and as an assistant sports director and weekend anchor for KMSP-TV in Minneapolis.
