Elena joined the channel 4 news team back in December 2018. After graduating from Point Park University in 2014 with a BA in Broadcast Communications, Elena became a digital video reporter for WTAE’s online lifestyle and entertainment team, 4the412. Then in 2017, she served as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor at WJET in Erie, PA.
Living with a disability has led Elena to a love of philanthropy. She serves as the Mistress of Ceremonies for fundraising galas nationwide and is an ambassador to numerous non-profit organizations. She was also the top fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s “Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest” program in 2013.
