“It took 44 hours from the water to go and several complications occurred along the way. I had a lot of pain and it was about to end with Caesarean section. Eventually, we tried an epidural blockade, and even if it only took the pain for five minutes, I finally opened the last five centimeters and fed my lovely daughter, telling Gry Bay who had prepared the birth with yoga and imagined she would feed in water.
But instead you will find wires and tubes all over the place. There was a danger that I would fail, and my daughter’s heartbeat dared to be dangerous. It was a bit dramatic and I was pleased that both my mother and my boyfriend were present. But now, instead, I experience a whole wild love feeling.”
In 2014 Lærke Løkza was diagnosed with ADHD, the psychiatrist said that if Gry didn’t take care of Lærke she would have ended up in in the autism diagnosis.
“Now we have been diagnosed with her and it is a great relief, as the surroundings, the nursery and the family saw me like a mother who could not relax and let go. I have heard the word ‘symbiose’ countless times. The kindergarten meant it was me who was guilty of her behavior and I felt that everyone blamed me. It’s nice to finally get some help, respect and recognition. People have otherwise meant that I cared too much about her, even when I tried to follow their advice and scold her out after which she broke down. Now we know why she is so sensitive and that she can not control sleep, food and emotion and is having a social encounter”, says Gry Bay.

She has a relationship with Frank (Thomas Raft), but refuses to let him move in with her. When Johan shows up again after five years absence, she starts wondering how much longer she can maintain her emotional independence, and if that is what she wants. She has sex with him, loses his telephone number and cannot contact him. She ends her affair with Frank and when she is offered a job as costume designer in a French theatre, she decides to move to Paris. She leaves her flat to her flatmate Camilla (Eileen Daly) who asks her permission to rent out the now empty room to a friend of hers. This friend turns out to be Johan, and Anna meets him as she leaves for Paris, where the local stage actors Pierre (Morten Schelbech) and Sophie (Ovidie) offer new amorous temptations, but she worries about Johan finding a new love.
