KARK/KlRT reporter leaving Little Rock for anchor job in Northwest Arkansas
Back in 2017, Hunt left her job at Little Rock’s NBC and Fox affiliates to become a news anchor in Northwest Arkansas. She said in the tweet that she would be joining the team at NBC affiliate KNWA-TV and Fox affiliate KFTA-TV, which, like Little Rock stations KARK-TV and KLRT-TV, are owned by Nexstar Broadcasting Group.
Hunt told ArkansasOnline by phone that her last day on the air in Little Rock will be May 27 before beginning her weekend anchor job at KNWA and KFTA the first week in June. According to her station biography, she joined KARK and KLRT in April 2014 as a general assignment reporter.

“Two years ago, She made the decision to head to Northwest Arkansas in an effort to sharpen her anchoring skills,” said KARK News Director Austin Kellerman. “She vowed to return one day, and I’m proud she lived up to that goal. She’s maintained strong relationships in Central Arkansas and should immediately fit right in.”
