Jon Seda is an American actor who was born and brought up in Manhattan, New York, U.S. Seda was an amateur boxer who auditioned for and was given a role in the year 1992 boxing film Gladiator.

He played the role of Chris Pérez along with Jennifer Lopez in the movie Selena and Detective Antonio Dawson in NBC’s Chicago P.D. Seda also performed the role of Paul Falsone in the show Homicide: Life on the Street. He also performed the role of U.S. Marine John Basilone, recipient of the Medal of Honor, in Tom Hanks as well as Steven Spielberg’s The Pacific.

Seda’s debut in the film world was in the boxing film Gladiator. He was cast as “Romano,” a Cuban boxer. Since then he has worked in multiple films and TV series.
