So it’s no wonder that behind the scenes might get a little bit dangerous from time to time. Ubbe star Jordan Patrick Smith opened up on the time he accidentally punched a girl in the face while filming one of the show’s infamous battle scenes. He said: ‘There’s always mistakes.
The only person I have ever hurt was unfortunately a young girl.’ The 29-year-old paused for a second as he cringed over the thought, before letting out a nervous laugh. He got her ‘right between the eyes’. Explaining what had happened, he continued: ‘I was supposed to punch her in the face with the back of a sword.

The former Neighbours star revealed that the cast train for around up to four times a day for six weeks before they film the fight scenes. Giving us an insight into what’s to come in season 5B, he teased: ‘We practise a lot – there’s a big fight between me and a guy that’s about eight-foot-tall and it’s the biggest fight I have ever done in my life.
‘It took us a day and a half to shoot and it’s on the screen for about three minutes.’ He added: ‘It starts all big and epic but it goes on to get all tight and personal and yeah, that day I had bruised ribs and a black eye – he punched me twice in the jaw!
