She was Texas’ Junior Miss when she was a high school senior and partook in the America’s Junior Miss Scholarship Program in 1988. Stouffer afterward attended the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, on a Phi Beta Kappa scholarship. Linda anchors Channel 2 Action News This Morning on weekdays from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. She also works as a reporter who files stories for the station at 4, 5, and 6 PM during the week. She also hosts the WSB’s Community program People 2 People. She joined WSB-TV after leaving CNN Networks as a News Reporter and Anchor, where she worked for about 12 years.
While working there, she covered great topics and issues including the 9-11, presidential elections, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, hurricanes Katrina, and Rita, and the capture of Saddam Hussein among others.
