At 19, Dae enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2008. He fought two foreign wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, conducting operations with Heavy Helicopter Squadron 462 as an Aviation Mechanic and Aerial Observer for more than 5 years. He founded Nu Dae while he was a trainer at Equinox with the mission of helping his customers realize that every day is a new day to do something different.
Afterward, he enrolled at San Diego State University with a major in Hospitality and Business, He had multiple jobs such as a mixologist, and even went as far as producing his wine and liquors. After college, he worked for years with Moet & Hennessy as an Event Production Coordinator and thereafter became the Southern California Brand Ambassador for Grand Marnier and Campari.
Dae’s decision to quit the alcohol industry to pursue the greatest passion of his life brought him to Los Angeles, where he has had the joy of working with many YouTube stars and influencers creating short-form content after finding himself in New York where he presently helps brands create and produce campaigns.
