In 1960, the Witt family moved to Durango, Mexico, and a missionary outreach began. While dropping St. John’s gospels over small villages in Mexico, Jerry was killed when his small aircraft was shot down in 1964. After his death, Nola Witt continued the work of the mission. She married Frank Warren a couple of years later. They started building new churches together in Durango, Mexico. There were two kids in the couple.

Jonathan Mark Witt Holder , well known as Marcos Witt was born on May 19, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas, United States, is a singer, musician, composer, author, lecturer and pastor. From 2002 to 2012, Witt was pastor at Lakewood Church, leading along with his wife Miriam Witt.
Five-time Grammy Award winning singer who has released numerous albums since 1986 and has also worked as a pastor.
