Mark Baden Biography
Mark Baden is an American Chief Meteorologist for WISN. He has received numerous awards including the American Meteorological Society’s seal of approval as well as the seal of Certified Broadcast Meteorologist.
Before coming to Milwaukee, Mark worked in Des Moines, Iowa, St. Louis, Missouri, Sioux City, Iowa, and Columbia, Missouri. Mark teaches a meteorology course every spring at Concordia University in Mequon.
He has served as emcee for 12 years for COA’s Oscar Night America. He hosts numerous events for Children’s Hospital including the Sugarplum Luncheon and the Evening of Elegance. Along with sports director, Dan Needles, Mark has hosted the Neighborhood House Invitational golf outing since 2005 and also emcees the Neighborhood House’s Ray Richardson dinner.
Mark also has served as honorary captain of Discovery World’s Denis Sullivan, the schooner anchored in Milwaukee.
