Bloom currently serves as the head trainer at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Matt served as a commentator for WWE’s NXT between Jan 2014 and Aug 7 under the name Jason Albert. Nevertheless, Bloom announced that he would resume his teaching profession and serve as a trainer in WWE Performance Center on Aug 7, 2014. After serving as a trainer for almost a year, Matt was promoted to become NXT’s head trainer.
Matt also fought in the WWE under the alias A-Train between 2002 and 2004. He challenged for the WWE Championship at SmackDown’s brand-exclusive Royal Rumble in 2004. However, he was eliminated by Eddie Guerrero before he was traded to WWE RAW on March 22, 2004.

Tons of Funk was stable and great until Nov 2013 when it started showing signs of instability. Clay started being angry, jealous, and obsessed with Xavier Woods which resulted in Tensai and the Funkadactyls isolating themselves from Clay. Clay continually assaulted R – Truth (Xavier Woods partner) instead of going for a win at the TLC match.
Tensai and the Funkadactyls left the match in a protest which resulted in Clay losing the match. Additionally, Tensai defeated Clay in a SmackDown match held on Dec 20.
