The Challenge
In late 2019, Mattie continued with her job as a bartender. She participated in reality TV shows to win money to help pay off some of her debts, start her own business, and buy a house. She also appeared on two seasons of The Challenge since her debut on season 33, war of the Worlds, in 2019. Mattie participated in the show and made it to the finals, during the first season, but had to withdraw from the competition after the first leg of the final and came seventh.
Since she was filming Floribama Shore, she did not make it to its follow-up season, War of World 2. She later returned for season 35, The Challenge: Total Madness. Unfortunately, she was eliminated in the 11th episode. Nevertheless, Mattie was one of the cast members in the fifth season of Party Down South (a.k.a The Dirty South).
Mattie Breaux Jail
On November 9, 2020, Mattie pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge. She saved seven days (on weekends only) in the Davidson County Jail. She was originally sentenced a year to but the sentence was later suspended. After her jail term, she spent nearly a year on supervised probation, devoid of a driver’s license for the year.
Her DUI incident occurred in August 2019. This was after she crashed her vehicle in Nashville. She told the officers that she had had two bears and had taken hydrocodone before driving. Mattie also informed the officers about her two DUIs in the past.
Floribama Shore
Many Floribama Shore fans were shocked that Mattie Lynn Breaux did not return for the fourth and potentially last season of the hit show, and we’ve seen out what she’s been doing since season 3 was completed. Mattie was memorably presented to the house last season as a friend of Gus Smyrnios, but she fast entered into a romance with Jeremiah Buoni.
Jeremiah won over fans with his personality and style. Though the housemates kept the romance, Jeremiah overwhelmed Mattie when he said that he didn’t want to take their relationship long-distance. Many watchers believed that Mattie would be back for another season of dating drama, but she has been up to other things since she was let go by the network.
