Steve Gadd is a famous American drummer, percussionist, and session musician. He is one of the widely-known and highly considered session and studio drummers in the industry, identified by his installation into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1984. His performances on Paul Simon’s “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover” and “Late in the Evening” and Steely Dan’s “Aja” are samples of his style. He has also worked with other famous musicians from many genres including, Chick Corea, Lee Ritenour, Paul Desmond, Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor, Harry Chapin, Joe Cocker, Grover Washington Jr., and Michael Brecker among others.
